Mr. Nathan C. Belzer
Nathan Belzer founded his eponymous firm, Belzer PC, in 2004 from which he serves clients in a wide variety of industries and business arenas, including individuals and existing small businesses, start-up companies and publicly held corporations on the Fortune 100 Nathan has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting trademark and copyright applications and manages several large, international trademark portfolios. Nathan’s practice also includes drafting and negotiating patent, copyright and trademark licenses and assignments as well as transactions involving computers, software, information systems, and e-commerce. Before forming Belzer PC, Nathan worked for Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn, P.C. where he managed the Intellectual Property group. Before that, he worked in the Houston office of Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP (now Locke Lord) where he was a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology and Commercial Transactions sections. Nathan is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Texas State Bar and sits on INTA’s Pro Bono Committee. In addition, Nathan is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Nathan graduated from Colgate University in 1993 with a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science. He received his J.D., with distinction, from Emory University School of Law in 1998.
